A Corporate Plan is a strategic document that guides our thinking and decision making and helps ensure that everything we do takes us closer to achieving our mission. It sets out our mission, the aims and outcomes that drive us, our responsibilities, commitments and the high-level actions we’ll take to deliver the political, corporate, legal and statutory priorities.
Since our last 2018-23 Corporate Plan, the City Corporation has faced considerable challenges, from the Covid-19 pandemic, the cost of living crisis, and the impact of climate change. There have been changes to the way we work. Our Corporate Plan needs to reflect this; it will also inform Business Plans which will help guide us in the same direction during the next five years towards a shared mission.
Our Corporate Plan is one of the building blocks of our organisation, alongside our priorities, mission, culture, and strategies and business plans.
Development of the Corporate Plan is an opportunity for you to work with the City of London Corporation to inform our organisational priorities, influence our direction and be involved in shaping the future of your community.
An equality impact assessment (EIA) is an evidence-based approach designed to help organisations ensure that their policies, practices, events and decision-making processes are fair and do not present needless barriers to participation or disadvantage any protected groups.
We will work with relevant parties to undertake an equality impact assessment for the Corporate Plan. When completed, this document will be made available in both digital and non-digital formats.
